Sheryl Lee Ralph Haven’t exactly had a simple week after sharing ‘good Morning America’ that she was recently involved in a car accident that left her with a harness on her arm. The “Abbott Elementary” star shared how her SUV took a direct nosediva from a congress center that loaded the dock. Despite the accident, however, Ralph ran through the speaking gig and several other interviews she had planned for the week as a real manager. And she wants to heal quickly when her Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony is just around the corner.

Ralph explained how the accident happened
The actress Appealed On ‘Good Morning America’ on Thursday (April 10), where she was asked about her arm. It was difficult not to notice the harness when Ralph wore a light blue dress, which was a fairly color contrast to the role.
When news anchors George Stephanopoulos Discovered the Cravat band and asked her what had happened, Sheryl looked disappointed but did not hold back. She said she went as a passenger in an SUV, on her way to a speaking event, when the driver became confused and sent the car straight from the congress center’s charge doll. “We literally noseddivated,” She remembers. “Know yourself go straight down? Graziest Thing ever.”
Our Emmy-winning aunt admitted that the whole thing left her to feel scared, but she gave large props to the car to keep her safe despite the driver’s mishap. “That car hit the ground, continued to move, the right and saved my life,” she added.
Ralph said that the whole thing reminded her that life is too short.
“Every day, appreciate the people and things around you,” She preached.
She was determined to continue working
One day before, during her performance at ‘The Late Show with Stephen Colbert’ on Wednesday, April 9, she first talked about the incident. Ralph revealed that the crash actually went down on Monday 7 April. But did it stop her from continuing her work schedule? Nope. The actress, who is 68 and thrives, still met her speaking commitment, even though her adrenaline was 10.

That night, she even shook an award from NYC’s MCC theater. But the native Connecticut joked that it was not long before the pain hit as if she had gone rounds with Muhammad Ali. “Terrible,” she continued, while she still managed to crack jokes with Stephen Colbertsays “This harness is all I have, not a coffin!”

During the interview, she also opened her excitement to get her own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Ralph’s long delayed recognition on the iconic strip and honors both his career in television and film (ICTR!), will take place on Wednesday, April 16.
“Stephen, for me, with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, it really is not so much for me but for all other artists and really people out there on the grinding who think they are invisible, think it can’t happen to them,” She expressed. “It can actually happen for you!”
