Unai Emery insists that his party Aston Villa still has faith, although on Wednesday on Wednesday in its quarterfinals of the Champions League in Paris, the PSG defeat fell to 3-1.
Morgan Rogers gave Villa a surprising lead on the harsh parc des Princes after 35 minutes, but the noble goals from the desire of Doue, Khvich Kvaratskhelia and Nuno Mendes completed the return of the dominant champions of Ligue 1.
The result means that Emery’s side has a monumental task on the second stage if they have a chance to refer to the last four European elite club competitions.

But Villa’s boss believes that his team has his team’s ability to cause disturbance next week in Villa Park.
“More or less the expectations I had in 90 minutes (tonight),” Emery admitted.
“The result, maybe there is no big difference between 2-1 and 3-1, because we will play at home next week. It will still be a huge challenge for us, but we can feel strong with our support.”
“We knew we had to be clinical before the match and we were clinical in the first half.
“The match is the first leg. Of course, the result is not good for us, but it may be one positive to be at home where we can get our dynamics and use our power.
“We believe in our support, we believe in Villa Park. We believe that players can provide the best performance next week.”
Rogers repeated his manager’s sentiments and added that players had nothing to lose.
“We have another leg to try to turn it and we are going to everything and try to win a tie and finally see where it will take us,” Rogers said.
“We didn’t want to come here (Paris) and just be spectators. We wanted to participate and try to compete and I felt we did it for large parts. Apparently the score is great, but we have another game and try to turn it.”
“We have quality to turn it.”

“We have quality in our dressing room. We are here for some reason. We want to fight, we want to try to win and finally we have enough quality to cause any team in the world.”
“We have nothing to lose. No one had to win the tie in the first place, so why not just go for it. This is the mentality I have, that is the mentality that we all have and manager.”
“We just have to continue and still believe that we can and find out where it will take us. We certainly have quality to turn it, so it’s not done yet.”
